Since the end of the Cold War, globalization has been accelerating and expanding to almost every area and every corner

in today's world. Regions, countries, organizations, communities, and individuals are searching for solutions or alternatives,
which can realize the rich diversities of various locales, cope with the global challenges, and provide better and humane environment

transformation of information technology, problem of uncertainty, risk and trust, the coming of aging society and related institutional
arrangement in social welfare and social support system, justice, security and liberty, a transnational civil society and democratizing
democracy, the problem of development and global poverty, the age of media and popular culture, global warming and ecological crisis,
require original, critical and innovative thinking on organizing/regulating/governing social and economic activities under the changing
conditions of post-modernity. All of this has once again come to the fore of sociology and of social sciences, and people are calling for
better understanding and proper solutions.

ideas and researches, to communicate one another, and to establish academic and intellectual relationship for future exchange.
